The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customised solutions within the Salesforce platform to support business objectives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

Division: Construction
Location: Head office, Bingley
Design and develop customised Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and internal systems via APIs and middleware.
Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications and workflows.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams.
Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features, applying them where appropriate.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II is highly desirable).
Additional certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, or Integration Architecture Designer are a plus.
Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.
Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow Builder.
Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and data architecture.
Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications.
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II is a plus).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Salary: £75,000 per annum
Pension: 3% contribution
Holidays: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising by one day per year to 28 days.
